Michelle Finnamore of Advantage Staging has been busy along with 10 other designers at the fabulous Estate on the Bay Designer showhome makeover for the upcoming United Way 50th Anniversary open house tour.
I chose to stage the exterior grounds including the front door area, the cabana, the top of the 55 foot boat slip and the fish pond. It has been a pleasure working with the many suppliers who have graciously contributed to the fund raising efforts for the United Way. Wander through the home and grounds and see the lifestyle of lakeside estate living first hand.

This was interesting to watch. You've done a great job of shooting this video.
Thanks Bob. I wish I could take credit for the video shoot but that was done by a professional company.
This is quite a large project which is being covered by local media and being featured on Cityline which is a TV show that goes right across Canada so it has excellent coverage right from beginning to end. I was very honoured to be picked as part of the design team on this project.
The big reveal is September 13, 18, 19 and 20th.
Michelle this was fastinating to watch and the video hostess did a great job. I hope that there will be a video followup on the results. Would love to see more of your part of the installation.
Michelle -- What a beautiful property and setting overlooking the lake! The hostess did a great job explaining the various updates in progress. Look forward to your photos later!
Hi Ginger and Maureen, It is such a lovely property on the lake. It is a rare opportunity for the public to wander around a large estate on the lake. The designers have really used cutting edge products in their designs. There is a wallpaper installed in the family room that is made from real cork and looks and feels like a real birch tree. Absolutely fabulous product.
I will be posting the updated videos as they are recorded. Wish you were a little closer to visit this spectacular home on the lake.
It is fun to "attend" vicariously through your eyes, and will be fun to see the videos as they are produced...fun to watch!
Hi Cheryl, thank you for watching the video. It really is quite exciting to see it all come together for a total transformation of the 10,000 square foot property.
While I was out there yesterday the bamboo art look film was installed on the glass sliding doors on the cabana where the bar is. It looks totally zen out in the garden now.
The big launch gala is tomorrow night, September 10th with the local who's who attending along with Cheryl Tiegs the super model and local TV celebreties from City TV, Kevin Frankish and Mary Dobson.
Then the doors open to the public Sept 13, ,18. 19 & 20th. Videos will be uploaded of the finished design makeover shortly, stay tuned!
Well done Michelle! What an exciting project to be a part of
