Adantage Staging recently had the amazing opportunity to stage three condos in one day for the Norstar development of Harmony Village in North York.
These are inventory houses that have been on the market for two years. After staging this week, one has sold already and I am confident the others will follow shortly.
The before photos demonstrate how cold and uninviting an empty home can appear to buyers. After staging, the buyer can now envision how they would use the space and see themselves living there. I suggested to the marketing team that the condos be sold with the furniture.
For less than $40 per month on your mortgage, you can move right in to your new dream lifestyle. Put your feet up on the coffee table the day you move in with no muss or fuss. Just unpack your clothes and personal belongings and say …. Honey, I’m home!

Hi MIchele!
Can't read the post, it is all scrambled, I think somehow the source is shown, instead of text.
Heard from Sue...yeap...of course you can, you are MIchele!
Congrats!
HI Monica, thanks for the heads up on the text. All fixed now. Staging three condos in one is not for the faint hearted. I was fortunate to be working with two other very qualified stagers in Susan Crema Martin and Karen Salzsaular. We worked from 10 in the morning until 6:30 at night. I just heard today that a second condo has sold. I love these staging success stories as it encourages others builders to take the plunge and try staging. Effective staging by professional stagers works every time!
OMG! We just did 3 on Wednesday Michelle... talk about a personal best. Will blog about it when things slow down. Yes, it can be done, but it takes MUCHO organization and like you said... NOT for the faint hearted ;)
My stager in Charleston did the same for model homes for the builder. Buyers would insist on buying the model that had been vacant for a long time. So he would sell them and move the furniture to the next vacant and that one would sell too. They did this 4 or 5 times until they all sold. Good for your client in this market to get a unit sold. Staging does the trick!
Hi Lori, I agree. I have to be super organized to pull this off. You have to figure out exactly what is going to be placed in each spot, no packing extras just in case. Each bin is labelled for the room in each house. Photos printed off of the rooms help immensely in this process. Congrats on your day too!
Hi Michele, you are right. The builder just keeps moving the furniture from condo to condo until they are all sold. Staging is making all the difference to this builder. He wanted to get the last of the standing inventory off his books and now that is happening. Thanks for stopping in to see my work.
How awesome, Michelle. I have two (scheduled for the same day) next week! Both are vacant.
I love how the living room came out. It looks so much warm and inviting.
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the Active Rain group called Staging Before & After Pictures.
Kathy
HI Kathy, thank you for the feature. I will post a few more of the rooms soon. It has been a whirlwhind the last few weeks. Hope you day with two homes goes smoothly. It definitely takes an organized mind to keep the staff on track with no wasted time. We were actually ahead of the furniture delivery people a couple of times.
Michelle: Your staging made a huge difference for the much better! Last week, I staged 3 homes in 3 days and it was daunting indeed. You're my hero - I can't imagine it all in ONE DAY!!! I'll blog about my 3 and post pics at some point, but the wrap up is still crazy.
Hi Debra, I wish you success with your three staged homes. Looking forward to seeing your pics. It is indeed an exercise in planning to stage three houses in one day. I would do it again if given the opportunity. Call me an adrenaline junkie!
