All I did was.... create a simple table setting to allow the grandeur of the room sell the house

Advantage Staging is fortunate to stage in Vaughan which has some of the most magnificent properties in the GTA.

The interiors have such incredible attention to detail that the staging work that is required is minimal.

The focus of staging these homes is always "less is more".

In this property at 100 Rocmary I created the most simple table setting to allow the grandeur of the kitchen to be the focus for buyers.

All I did in this kitchen is place a lemon along side a mango on a square white ceramic plate. All of which the home owner had on hand. Simple and effective staging techniques that grab the buyers attention by being different than the usual for a table setting.

Before staging

100 rocmary

After staging

staging a kitchen

Investment, minimal.

Impact, priceless.

Hi Michelle ~ That looks like a spectacular property for sure!  Your simple staging of the beautiful dining table didn't distract at all from the view, the high-end kitchen, and that stunning chandelier.  Very well done!

It would be so easy to go overboard with this table!  Your simplicity is stunning!

The simplicity is stunning Michelle. That table is a work of art and good for you in letting it just be.

Michelle - A very nice "wow" factor!  Good job.

Michelle - That's what I call making lemonade out of lemons...  with the help of a mango or two...  Great job - love how you let the kitchen take centre stage.

HI Sharon, I compare it to when you go to a wedding and you see the one lady there that has a simple dress on with a little pair of strappy heels and then you see the lady there that is wearing the loud dress with every piece of jewelry on she has ever recieved. Simple is always more effective to achieve an elegant look.

HI Shar, that is what the client said. It looked like a piece of art. She asked if I would come back to other table settings for her she was so impressed with the simplicity of the table setting.

Hi Pam, It definitely gets most people to stop and take it in. Even the photogrpaher called to say how much he liked the effect it had in the photograph. Thanks for stopping in.

HI Sally, I always love your way with words! The kitchen was so elegant I knew that I had to keep it simple on the table. I have used fruit many times before but this was the first time I had used a mango and lemon together.

Great point about allowing the grandeur of the home to sell itself by not covering it up Michelle! I love the simplicity of this and often less is more when staging.  Tricks, over decorating and the like only distract, not attract eyes to a space.

Michelle- brilliant. When you have something that grand.. in the chandelier and rest of the area, trying to compete would merely be distracting.

Hi Karen, I thought about white florals for a few minutes but I really came back to the fresh fruit expressing the thought of clean, healthy living.

Hi Wendy, exactly. Thanks for stopping in Wendy.

HI Kathy, If you have moment, click through on the address to see the rest of the house. Grandeur abounds in this property. I knew to keep it simple when I saw the frescos painted on most of the ceilings. The artwork painted up there was enough for this house.

Simple? Yes. Effective? Yes.

Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

Hi Kathy, thank you so much for the feature. Much appreciated!

I find that the grander and more detailed the house is, you really have to pare back staging to a simple form. This in turn allows the buyers to pause and take in each room.

Michelle....sometimes less is BEST!  Very elegant touch!

Hi Linda, thank you so much. I tried to relate to the buyer how very elegant this home was, that it really didn't need much and that it was move in ready.

Hi Kathy, less is always best in my mind. I find the world very cluttered as I am sure most home stagers do.
