In this example I would like to show Realtors and Homeowners that buyers want to be able to see the intended purpose of the room and not be distracted by your personal belongings. A Master Bedroom should be marketed and Staged as a retreat from a busy day, a place to rejuvenate and be ready for a new day.
In this property in Barrie, all I did was add neutral bedding and curtains, two lamps of an appropriate size, romantic artwork and decluttered.
Advantage Staging will market your property to stand out from the competition every time.
Investment, minimal.
Impact, priceless.

Wow, what a difference that made. It looks better.
Those black curtains look like leather. Nice transformation.
Hi Angelia, the room just had to many competing things going on.
Upon entering the room, you really didn't know where to look first.
After Staging, now the room has a focus. One that is immediately inviting and relaxing. Staging is marketing the purpose of the room to buyers and getting them to envision themselves living in that home.
The Realtor's job will be a lot easier now that the Staging has created that "BUY ME" look.
Hi Donna, I think they were pleather. Not really the best look for a relaxing bedroom.
Decorating your home for living is one thing. Staging is for marketing the property to sell the widest range of potential buyers. Most people I know are time starved and looking for relaxation. This bedroom gives them that look.
Michelle, I love the huge photos here. Even though the photos are not the exact same angle, I can easily see the "before and after". The rooms is inviting whereas before it was one of those rooms where you want to close the door and tell the Buyer to look at the next room (and pray the next room looks a little better).
Looks good, simple and tasteful improvement.
Hi Sharon, I know I try my best to take photos from each corner of the room and then dead on but I agree with you that in this instance you can get a sense of the overall impact of walking into the room. A wide angle camera is something that I am looking at right now.
Hi Trey, simple and tasteful is my motto. :)
Thank you both for stopping in. I fully understand the Realtor's dilemma in paying to market not ready to be shown. You want to get the listing signed and get it sold but most properties need help in getting to that point. No sense wasting your money and your clients time trying to market something that is not in the best condition it could be.
I love the photos. What a great way to show your epertise! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Phylis, Thank you for the positive comments on my work. Now I just have to get a wide angle lens camera I should be able to get the room in one shot for better before and afters.
WOW Michelle Great job! The best pics I have seen to encourage "Staging" may I print them for my own use?
thank you
Hi Karen Ann,
Thank you for the WOW! It really sums up the transformation doesn't it?
You can use my pics as long as you give credit to my company, Advantage Staging. As you are a long way from where I am located I appreciate your support in that way. I also ask that youforward any material that you use them in with your logo or identifier on it for my files.
Anything to spread the good word about Staging.
Well Michelle, it looks like you've done it again; a room well staged, Congrats!
HI Tosha, It was easy to do this one as the biggest dilemma was the clutter. Thanks for taking a look at my work again! :)
Michelle, You always have great transformations with minimal changes.. God bless.
HI Cheryl, It just seems to work out that way in the properties I Stage. I can hardly wait to get a vacant so I can start with a blank canvas.
Michelle, yet another fine example of your work! Fabulous!
HI Kristina, Thanks for the kind comments on my work. After meeting me you must realize fabulous is my favourite word! Staging does make everything look fabulous doesn't it?
