All I did was....Home Staging Success Stories

head_left_image

All I did was.... change the bedding, hang a picture and place a lamp

In this example, I would like to demonstrate how important it is to create a cozy retreat from the world in a Master Bedroom. The potential buyer must make an emotional connection to the home and there is no better way than to create an image of coming home to nest.

In this property in The Beaches in Toronto the before and after photos demonstrate the dramatic difference that bedding and artwork play in creating this welcoming feel. Now the master bedroom has buyers saying I want to live here. In this room all I did was add bedding, lamps and artwork that tied in with the warm paint colour on the walls and the beautifull hardwood floors. The overall effect was one of a romantic getaway weekend in your very own home. And who wouldn't want that?

Advantage Staging will market your property to stand out from the competition every time.

Investment, minimal.

Impact, priceless.

Hi Lanette, thank you for stopping in to see my work. The wood floors really have become the feature in the room now. A great selling point in any home today.

Hi Rebecca, it really was a beautiful nest when I had finsihed staging the room. It had the look of a country inn, somewhere you could relax.

Hi Patty, Thank you for noticing the quality of the photos. It is so important when putting photos on the MLS listings that you get the money shot of each room. It is what gets the buyers to put your lisiting on their "Must See List" .

Hi Kym, The colour is Sherwyn Williams Compatible Cream SW 6387. Always try to use no VOC paint when staging . It avoids having the tell tale paint fumes. It gives you a marketing edge over your competition as you don't have to worry if the potential buyer has any health issues like asthma that paint fumes could bother. No VOC paint does not off gas for months afterwards making it a healthier home than your competition to move into. Thanks for stopping in to see my work. It was a pleasure staging this home.

Michelle,  Outstanding. Love the pops of black with the wall color.  Great piece over the bed.

HI Rhonda, I love black with anything. I believe there is a school of thought that says there should be a bit of black in every room. The artwork over the bed I found at my local garden nursery. It just goes to show that you never know where you will find just the right piece for a Staging job. All good Stagers are eagle eyes and can spot a treasure at 50 paces. :)

Hi Chrissie, simple, effective budget conscious changes make the difference every time. The rental for the pieces in this room came to $ 79.
